As you are probable aware, our club has started the process of improving our infrastructure which is urgently required to keep our club adjourned and also to improve the image of our club and Youth Nursery.
We are moving in the right direction but these things take time.
I will be updating you all on the progress acheived.
We have started by drawing up the plans with the help of Perit Mark Borg and have submitted these plans to MEPA and Lands Department.
We have a slight problem with the application as MEPA fees amount to LM825 however the committee is working hard to pay these fees so that the application can proceed. This is anticipated to take about two ot three months to get the permits. Lands Department will then be able to devolute the Land requested to the club which has to be passed through Parlament.
Kunsill Malti ghal-Isport has already approved and finds no objection.
In the mean time we have also made contacts with our Bankers for the possibility of a Loan, to build the infrastructure.
We have already proved our credit, as by the end of Febuary 2007 our bank loan to buy the existing club will be paid.
What I ask from all at Fgura is to help the club financially even a small amount or contact will do. We are doing our utmost to make all this happen.Help us do all this.
