Fgura sprung a nice surprise in this Fourth Division C clash against 100% record holders Riviera beating them by the closest of margins in this seven goal thriller.

 

Fgura fielded Clint Ellul who's continuous and precise shooting from practically anywhere in the pitch proved an asset to the team.

 

It was Riviera who took the lead after our team was caught square from a dead ball situation however a Clint Ellul brace overturned the scoreline by the end of the half.

 

Kevin Gatt notched another goal on the exchange of ends, dribbling round the keeper in the process. However Riviera reduced the arrears soon after. Fgura took a two goal lead thanks to Silvano Pace receiving a lay-off from Ellul. But Riviera scored again (4-3) to enter again in the fray but our boys held tight to the slim advantage in the nerve-wrecking final minutes.
