In this last match of the campaign, our young team was minutes away from registering a double against our neighbours and notching the third win on the trot. However Santa Lucia were the better side in the first half as Fgura had to do without two key players, Matthew Gauci and Malcolm Psaila. In fact the Saints took a deserved league. However Fgura registered a good comeback in the second half an equalized thanks to Josef Vassallo after the keeper fumbled the ball and took the lead soon after through Michael Scicluna who capitalized on another defensive error. However this advantage was short lived as our boys in their attempt to seal the match, left themselves uncovered at the back and gave the Saints the opportunity to equalize.
