______________________________________ The U/16s registered their fourth win from five outings when beating Marsa 2-0 in a difficult match. Fgura started the match with the strong wind blowing to their aid. This factor proved to be decisive in the match as Kris Abela, returning from suspension, left his mark on the match, when a low drive from distance took everyone by surprise, with the ball ending its journey in the net. Brendon Cain scored his first ever Fgura goal when his swerving shot directly from the corner beat Marsa goalie. In the second half Fgura effected some positional changes to help defend the scoreline. Warren Bianco was safe in goal and in the two occasions he was beaten, once the post came to his rescue and in the other instance Redeemer Briffa was on the right spot to clear off the line. Towards the end Lydon Vella and Mario Lia could have sealed the issue but the first shot wide from an ideal position and the latter had his attempt from close distance blocked by the goalkeeper.
