Fgura are still looking for their first win in this Section C when we lost with the odd goal from three with Pembroke. Fgura had the most of possession in the first half but scoring opportunities were rare. The second half was livelier and Pembroke took the lead in the early minutes of the half with Fgura equalizing soon after when Seisun managed to liberate Bordieri in the penalty box, who slotted the ball past the Athleta’s keeper. Pembroke then hit the crossbar directly from a corner and with Fgura trying to score again, Pembroke caught our back line on the counter and scored the second goal. Fgura tried to salvage a point and had some good chances through Gauci and Bordieri that went begging. Pembroke on the other hand squandered some easy chances on the break.
