The Under 15 were beaten by Mqabba 3-1 after enjoying a 1-0 advantage for most of the game. Mifsud took advantage of a goal keeper blunder, failing to connect with the ball to score in an empty net. Mqabba tried hard to find the net but our defense held well. Mqabba had appeals for a penalty turned down. Late in the game Fgura lost libero Mifsud as he got slightly injured and unfortunately the team lost its shape and composure. The Mqabba skipper ran havoc beating a number of opponents before beating keeper Camilleri. Ciantar could have restored our lead after running around the keeper but concluded wide in front of a gaping goal. Mqabba took the lead scoring from close range. Young Theuma couls have equalised again beating the goalkeeper but hitting the side netting from an acute angle. In the dying minutes of the game Mqabba scored their third and final goal.
