he Under 17 managed to salvage a point in the very last when the teams shared six goals in a good match.

 

Fgura took a 1-0 lead when skipper Psaila was sent through to beat the goalkeeper. Mazzonello could have scored but his close range shot was saved by the keeper.

 

In the second half Mqabba turned the score in their favour first when converting a direct freekick and the second when Buttigieg was beaten from close range. Psaila could have got another but again was denied by the keeper in one on one situation. Fgura drew level when Farrugia astutely served Caruana in the box who scored. However a cross shot eluded Buttigieg in goal as Mqabba restored their lead.

 

Fgura had othet thoughts when Psaila was put through again, this time from a dubious offside position advanced and scored the 3-3 draw.
