After the a good first half their was high hopes that the team was about to register its first win. We played some neat football with Pisani in inspired form. We took the lead thanks to a Clint Ellul freekick while Drago could have easily doubled the score but concluded wide from an ideal position. Ghaxaq switched bulky Johann Zammit upfront and this move proved to be the turning point of the match. In fact in the second period Ghaxaq put us under pressure and drew level after a defensive blunder. Later on we conceded a penalty after a handling offence and with the team trying to get the equaliser Ghaxaq scored thier third on the break in the dying minutes of the match.
