A pathetic display in the claustrophobic Tarxien Ground led to a heavy defeat at the hands of Zebbug R, who with their aggresive approach bagged all three points dominating the game from start to finish.

 

Our defense was guilty of elementary mistakes and our midfield lost out to most challenges with their opponents. Our forwards hardly tempted the opposing keeper.

 

Zebbug took the lead as our defense failed to clear and the keeper marking out a feeble shot. The second half progressed in the same pattern, the team conceding soft goals while our response was almost inexistent. The small pitch hindered excessively the build up of our game as our players were not able to display their technical capabilities and agility.
