A 13 winless stretch extending back to the beginning of April 2009, came to an end on Friday, with Fgura registering a 2-0 win over Siggiewi, leapfrogging two teams in the provisional standings. Fgura started well with Azzopardi Busuttil shooting high from an ideal position but opened the score when Spiteri collected a defective clearance and volleyed home.
