Fgura obtained a merited point against Mtarfa, a team hoping for at least a play off place. This was the second game in a row that keeper Attard aided by an organised defense, managed to keep a clean sheet.

Fgura shown the better ideas in the first period and went close with a Spiteri shot saved by the keeper with Said having an attempt cleared to a corner. Pisani's shot produced a fine save by the keeper again to a corner.

In the second half Mtarfa improved a lot and as the game progressed became more menacing with Attard having to save with difficulty. At the other end Galea was unlucky when his shot went whiskers wide. Near the end Mtarfa could have bagged all the points but they failed to cocnclude two clear cut occassions.
