Leaders Marsa were in a class of their own, demolishing a make shift Fgura side. Marsa made their intentions very clear from the very start pressing for goals. Fgura somehow managed to absorb the pressure in the first 20 minutes but then suffered four goals in the remaining twenty minutes of the half. With some positional changes Fgura fared better in the second period and again kept Marsa at bay in the first twenty minutes but the pattern of the first half was repeated when the team conceded four more goals. In the second half Elton Camilleri had a goal disallowed for an offside and missed another occassion.
