Gatorade Festival Results

The Under 13s rose up to the occassion to register two wins in the opening Gatorade festival fixtures beating B'Buga Windmills 1-0 with Scott Spiteri netting the decisive goal in the second period. In the second match, immediately after the first one, our boys registered a 3-0 win over Marsa with all goal coming in the second period through a brace of Antonio Ciappara and another by Kyle Darmanin.
The format of the Under 13 festival has seen some modification from the previous seasons and is being played in 9 v 9 on a bigger pitch. We were sceptical on whether we were able to make the switch but the boys did well. Still the squad to needs to be increased as we are limited to just fifteen players which is the minimum a nursery needs to participate in this festival. Our plea is to see more young players to join in our Nursery in order to have enough players to field in the YFA competition matches.
