In the second period, Mdina made it 2-0 with a good goal, but Fgura soon reduced the arrears when substitute Azzopardi Busuttil tapped in an inviting cross. Fgura tried to salvage the match but their mass forays left ample space for Mdina to conjure fast breaks.
