The Under 15's failed to get into gear in this decisive top of the table clash, thus practically throwing awat their chances of winning the section and promotion to Section B. The team fared well below par as Zejtun's hunger for the three points did all the difference. The team failed to raise to the important occassion as Zejtun took the lead after 20 minutes. Fgura could have equalised but Jeslan Caruana shot straight at the gk from an ideal position while Zejtun doubled on the break in the following counter-attack. This goal was brought some protests from the Fgura camp. A Tristan Caruana effort was diverted to a corner by the alert gk. The second half followed the same pattern with the Corinthians adding two other goals with Fgura coming close to a consolation goal when a Caruan header from a Mazzonello freekick was again turned brilliantly to a corner. Zejtun were better throughout the match and our defense had to cope other attempts at goal.
