In the last match of the season a depleted team took on Gudja United. Despite Gudja having the better of possession, the best chances came our way but went begging with Fenech and Mazzonello coming close in more than one occassion. Buttigieg was safe in goal and was only beaten from the spot after referee adjudicated Vella to have handled the ball in the box, what seemed to be a very harsh decision. Fgura tried to at least salvage the match but despite their attempts the score line did not change

 

The final whistle left an air of disappointment in our clan. After a very encouraging 1st round the team started a lean period in which only four points were claimed in the last 5 matches.
