In another entertaining match, Senglea overcame a goal deficit to finish up 3-1 winners over Marsa. Marsa gave a good display especially in the first half and took a deserved lead when a short clearance from the Athletics following a freekick, Cameron Guzman volleyed the ball catching George Attard wrong footed. However Senglea drew level three minutes from the break, when Samuel Cassar rose high to head the ball down beating the goalkeeper. Immediately after the restart, Erin Azzopardi made a strong run down the centre, liberated Bjorn Dalli who sliced the ball home. Three minutes from time prolific scorer Dalli sealed the issue for his personal brace.
