Senglea A thrashed Swieqi Utd. 9-1. Goal hungry southsiders opened the score inside the 1st minute when Jeremy Gatt was put through to place the ball in the net. Jovin Galea's distant effort made it 2-0 on the 14th minute while Daniel Zahra anticipated the gk and headed home on 37th minute. Just before halftime Steve Zrinzo turned into his own net a cross from the right. Glenn Brincat collected a short clearance and slotted the ball in the net to score goal number five. This was followed by a headed goal scored by Daniel Zahra from close range. Brian Grech scored the consolation goal with a well placed shot from outside the box. Glenn Brincat scored the seventh pouncing on a defensive blunder with Andrew Sciortino collecting a short clearance to score the eight. Just before the final whistle, Glenn Brincat registered his personal hatrick when on the break made it 9-1.
