In the second match Zurrieq defeated Siggiewi 1-0. The game was a balanced affair until a swerving corner by Chris Farrugia on the 28th minute went directly in goal. From this point onwards Zurrieq seemed to be the team capable of getting another goal. However in the second half Siggiewi reacted and tried to level the score. After only six minutes of the restart Mark Camilleri eluded the offside trap but placed the ball inches wide with just the goaler to beat. On 68th minute a Jason camilleri direct freekick was saved with difficulty by keeper Azzopardi. Zurrieq hanged on to their slim lead till the end.
